Following the water scarcity in most parts of Langtang South Local Government Area as a result of the drying up of the Mabudi dam, the main source of water supply, His Excellency Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has kept his promise by approving with immediate effect the commencement of the supply of 20, 000 litres of potable drinking water daily to various wards and communities in Langtang South LGA.
Governor Mufwang said while the temporary measure is ongoing, his administration is working round the clock to provide a lasting solution to water problem in Langtang South.
The exercise which started on Monday 22 April 2024 and continues on daily basis has brought massive jubilation among women, children and even the aged in the Local Government area.
