Former House of Assembly member representing Pankshin North constituency, Hon. Phillip Dasun, has stunned the political landscape in Plateau State by announcing his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today 13th May 2024.
Dasun, in an interview, cited impressive performance by Governor Mutfwang and a similarity in ideology as reasons for his move.
"We supported Nentawe, believing that he would deliver remarkably on the Plateau dream, but God did not allow it. Governor Mutfwang has taken up the responsibility and is delivering wonderfully on the job, which is why we took the decision to support his leadership. The more we witness the progress being made under his governance, the more we align with his vision for the state.
