Growing a career regardless of social strata could be so laborious and painstaking most especially in a developing nations such as ours. On this note, I appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of Bokkos Local Government staff as well as artisans in both the public and private sectors for their contributions in moving the local government forward.

Although we're going through very challenging moments economically and in the security sector, you all have proven diligent, committed and consistent in performance. I commend you!

As we reflect on the significance of Workers' Day, I want to emphasise that workers under my watch deserve better working conditions as well as an improved welfare considering their contributions towards nation building.

As your Chairman, I am proud to lead such a dedicated and hardworking team. Together, we shall continue to strive for excellence and work towards building a brighter future for the good of all.

Lastly, while I wish you a successful and fulfilled celebration, I am calling for your sincere prayers amidst the current security challenges bedevilling our local government and other parts of the state.
