Children's Day is a day specially set aside to celebrate children the world over. While we celebrate this day with great joy and gratitude for the gift of children, this gives us a constant reminder of how much we owe these children in terms of social and moral upbringing.
The uniqueness of every child, makes parenting very interesting! To parents, teachers and wards/guardians, your dedication and commitment towards helping the children actualise their dreams and aspirations is very key. Hence, the need to work hard to meet the changing present.
On this special and unique day, I advocate for better education and improved welfare for our children. As a government, we will continue to implement children friendly policies so that the world will be a much safer place.
Our dear leaders of tomorrow, I charge you to be hardworking and committed in your academics and whatever area you find yourselves. May you excell in all your pursuits towards a secured and a dignified future.
Let me use this medium to congratulate the Time Is Now Philosopher, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang as he celebrates his maiden Children's Day as Executive Governor of Plateau State.
