The Plateau State government has donated N10 million towards the revised surgery of Plangnan Luka Dumkes.

Mohammed Sallahuddeen Junior, prominently known as Juju of Jos, an influencer who has been at the forefront of the #HelpPlangnanWalkAgain campaign, revealed this with an attached credit receipt via his Facebook handle this morning.

In 2021, Plangnan Luka Dumkes was involved in an accident that left her with a spinal cord injury at the thoracic level. "I have been in excruciating pain ever since and unable to walk," she stated. A revised surgery is needed to help her walk again.

Since the campaign to help Plangnan walk again began, youths in Jos and other areas have engaged in diverse fundraising activities including public car washes, street walks, concerts, and hosted events to raise the necessary funds.

The contribution by the Plateau State government, under the leadership of His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, will ease the financial burden and bring Plangnan closer
