On this special day, we celebrate the remarkable journey of a true icon, a champion of education, and a beacon of wisdom, Professor Mary Lar, fondly known as Mama Lar - wife of the pioneer National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Late Chief Solomon Lar.

Today, we celebrate the impact she has made. Throughout her career, Mama has exemplified wisdom and resilience. From her transformative contributions to education in Plateau State and Nigeria at large to her distinguished role as Nigeria's Ambassador to the Netherlands.

One noteworthy achievement is when Mama embarked on the noble endeavor of translating the Taroh language into proper orthography, paving the way for the translation of vital texts, including portions of the Bible.

Happy Birthday, Mama Lar! May your light continue to illuminate the path for generations to come.
